Frequently asked questions

Do I need a finished job description?

Bring the job description you have, or the role in your head. We define the role with you before outreach begins.

How much of my time does a search take?

Your time goes to the first working session, your interviews and the final call. We handle everything between them: outreach, assessment, scheduling and candidate communication. Your shortlist arrives in your inbox, and your Hiring Workspace holds the detail.

Can the search stay confidential?

Yes. You decide when your company enters the conversation: from the first message, or once there is mutual interest.

How long does a search stay active?

The active search runs 180 calendar days from your approval of the Signal Spec. Candidates already in your interview process at that point stay covered through your decision, and the term can be extended in writing.

What happens if the role changes?

A clarification within the approved Signal Spec carries on as agreed. A material change, such as new seniority, scope, location or compensation, leads us to revise the Signal Spec and present a new calibration slate. The shortlist guarantee restarts when you approve the revision.

Can I stop or pause a search?

Yes, at any time. Your retainer covers the work already done. If you reopen the role or start a new search, your retainer carries over.

Can [solved] work with our existing hiring software?

Yes. Where your systems offer an API or webhook, we connect the workflow. Where they do not, we agree on an operating model that keeps one version of the work.
